It is right and according to law that assets, art, bank accounts, etc., which were stolen from Jews by the Nazis during WWII be returned to the victims and their heirs (The Oregonian,NPR, 12/1/98). Furthermore, this rule should also be enforced against the Jews of Israel, who have stolen the homelands and property of the Palestinians and other Arabs in the wars of 1948 and 1967.
The theft of Palestine has been underway for fifty years and continues today - with the help of US foriegn and military aid and diplomatic protection. Fashion, rather than fairness or law, appears to dictate the choice of whose claims are recognized by the media and the American public.
